The results are in and parents are loving the NSW Government’s $100 Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers with 1 million downloaded since they went live.

Member for Murray Austin Evans said in addition to the popular Active Kids vouchers launched last year, parents can now download $100 vouchers for their school age children enrolled in creative and cultural activities, such as music, photography, language and coding.

“The new school year has started and these vouchers will help parents plan for their children’s activities and factor the cost of those activities into the household budget,” Mr Evans said.

“We know the cost of sporting and creative hobbies can often create added stress for parents which is why we introduced these cost-saving vouchers.

“These programs have been made possible due to our Government’s strong economic management – we’ve balanced the books, slashed the debt and put the state back in a strong position.

“I want families to have just a little less financial stress this new school year and we all want our kids to take part in activities that interest them – so I encourage you to take advantage of these vouchers,” Mr Evans said.

Other cost-saving programs offered by the NSW Government include cheaper Green Slips and refunds, free rego for regular toll users and the FuelCheck app.
